I've set this blog up partially because the it meets an asinine requirement for the DOE in the state of MA.... but secretly, I am sort of looking forward to using this as a place to question the very essence of education....
First, a frame of reference for the reader:
I am principally a math teacher at a private school that specializes in learning disabilities. The students I have are by no means ordinary, but I believe in general that educating them should not look very different than educating anyone else. my other part time duties at the school include teaching technology, one-on-one tutorials, coaching, and providing supervision for the residential program.
My goal is to post once every week or 2 in an effort to simply get everything I'm thinking out in to the vast void of cyberspace....
